Does GROUP-n-SAVE hold my group's money?
No. Your group keeps its own money. We only keep the records.
Who can see my group's records?
Only people connected to your group. Sensitive details such as ID numbers are kept in a protected area.
What if my internet is weak?
The app keeps working for viewing and saves your changes to send when you are back online.
Is GROUP-n-SAVE only for Uganda?
No. It was built in Uganda, but any savings group in East Africa or beyond can use it.
Can I be in more than one group?
Yes. Connect with each group's code and see all your totals in one place.
What if an admin loses their phone?
Report it in the app. We can pause the group, and after checking it is really them, reset their security code.
Can I use it for a chama, kibiina, equb or ayuuto?
Yes. Rotating savings, village banks, burial and mutual aid groups and small credit groups are all supported.
